01 — Product identity
Merchant listings are observations, not products.
A canonical product represents the actual keyboard part. Merchant listings remain separate offers attached to it, retaining the source shop, option, availability, currency, checked time, and original link. Ambiguous matches should be reviewed instead of silently merged.
02 — Offers and prices
Original currencies stay original.
Prices are shown in the currency supplied by the shop. Mechalick does not rank a dollar price against a euro price using an invisible exchange rate. Market snapshots use only available offers checked within the previous seven days. Shipping, taxes and duties remain excluded.
03 — Switch quantities
A pack price is not a unit price.
Switch offers record the number of switches in each pack. The optimizer combines available pack sizes from one shop to meet your requested switch count plus spares, then minimizes the merchandise subtotal within each currency.
04 — Price history
A short history should look short.
Observations are change events, not complete daily captures. On each recorded event date, Mechalick reconstructs the last known offer state for the affected currency so an unchanged cheaper offer does not disappear. Gaps without events are not presented as daily checks.
05 — Limits
The price is not always the landed cost.
Unless explicitly stated, comparison prices exclude shipping, tax, customs duties, payment fees, and currency conversion. Source links, timestamps, and visible caveats let you verify the decision before purchasing.
